2022 New Grand Cherokee vs 2022 Grand Cherokee WK

Serving Meridian, MS

The Jeep Grand Cherokee is a midsize SUV coveted for its strong capabilities and premium features over the years. SUV shoppers in 2022 now have a few exciting options to choose from, and these are the new Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee WK. The new Grand Cherokee, or Grand Cherokee WL, shows off the latest updates to the model’s style and introduces a few powertrain options. On the other hand, the Grand Cherokee WK shows off the same good looks that the 2021 version sported. Johnson Dodge Chrysler Jeep’s sales associates are eager to help you pick out a new Jeep that you will love.

Performance

The Grand Cherokee WK is offered with one engine option. This is a 3.6-liter V6, 293-horsepower system. The new Grand Cherokee is also available with this engine, and it introduces two new powertrains to the mix. One option is a 5.7-liter V8 system that delivers 357 horsepower. Another option is a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter, plug-in hybrid system that generates 375 combined horsepower. An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard across all trim levels for both models.

Appearance

The new Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee WK are siblings with many shared traits, but they are also easy to differentiate on the road. The Grand Cherokee WK’s style matches the 2021 Grand Cherokee’s design. Specifically, this model has sculpted door panels, square wheel wells, and a tall profile. The hood has a modest angle as it rounds into the bar-style grille. This grille wraps around to connect directly with the squared-off LED headlights. The new Grand Cherokee has comparable wheel wells and a similar grille design. However, its grille and its LED headlights are longer and leaner. The new Grand Cherokee also has a molded, well-designed front bumper and a flatter hood. On the sides, the surfaces are smoother, with accentuation running linearly below the belt.

Features

The new Grand Cherokee and the Grand Cherokee WK are offered in various well-appointed trim levels, and they share many features across these trims. Some of the items available in both versions of the Grand Cherokee are leather material, a navigation system, a sunroof, smart device app connectivity, a digital driver’s instrumentation screen, a power liftgate, and a premium audio system.
