The base model Jeep Renegade has a 2.4-Liter Inline 4 motor that puts out 180 horsepower. It also comes equipped with an automatic transmission with overdrive. The base Cherokee has the same motor that the Renegade has, except that its torque is 171 @ 4600. You’ll probably see up to 22 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway from this model.

The Cherokee will be better for someone looking for a classier model.
