While this generation launched several years ago, Dodge has progressively improved its design, features, and abilities since the third generation was released. In fact, for 2021, you will notice a few minor changes to the available features across all trims. More importantly, the R/T Scat Pack Shaker and the T/A 392 versions are now available with the popular Widebody package. In addition, the SRT Super Stock is a new option, and it comes with the performance capabilities that you may associate with drag racing.
Across the five trim levels, the available powertrains are unchanged. The entry-level SXT trim level has a 303-horsepower V6 engine with an eight-speed auto transmission. The SRT Super Stock comes with an 807-horsepower, 6.2-liter V8 engine on the other end of the spectrum. All trims have equipment like the UConnect 4 or 4C infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and an auto climate control system.
Higher-level trims add coveted features like a remote engine start system, a performance suspension system, launch control, a larger display screen, configurable driving modes, and more. The top-of-the-line 2021 Dodge Challenger has a Harman Kardon sound system, leather upholstery with ventilated front seats, blacked-out styling, adaptive cruise control, a forward collision alert system, enhanced interior design elements, and other premium features.
